We are into double digits in the day count now - but I'm afraid today's update is nothing exciting. The snow is still 18 inches deep and it doesn't look like melting away anytime soon. May be it is time to dig out those Spanish golf holiday brochures again!
I did spend more time today swinging the club indoors, but there is only so much of this you can do. A very interesting stat posted on Twitter by Titleist:
Steve Stricker made every single putt 3' or less in 09 (662 of them!). In fact he started the round with a streak of 916, dating to July 08.

So I have spent some time today on the putting matt just making putt after putt from 3 feet. These are some of the most nerve wracking putts when out on the course as you expect to make every one - so putting so many in the hole from this distance can do nothing but improve your confidence.
