What 3 golf clubs would you use?

On Sunday next weekend Theale Golf Club is having a 3 club golf competition. We need to each choose three clubs to take round for 18 holes of medal play plus our putter.

What clubs would you take?

Currently I'm thinking of taking

1, Driver

2, 4 hybrid

3, PW

+ Putter

I'm thinking of taking the 4 hybrid just because of it's versatility. I think most people will be swapping the 4 hybrid and taking a 6, 7 or 8 iron.

So how would you decide what and which clubs to take?

Gravatar Not sure about 1 & 2. I would think about a club I wanted to hit off most tees and then think about what club that will leave me in to most greens.
